You may have heard about an issue with Windows Secure Time Seeding that's recently been affecting Windows users across the globe. Windows STS is a feature added to Windows in 2016 that was meant to ensure system clocks were accurate when devices were not in a state to communicate securely with the nearest time server.
Although meant to be helpful, problems with Windows STS have been causing the time on Windows systems to spontaneously change to incorrect times for users worldwide. This wreaked havoc on time-based operations as systems were reading time stamps out of order and acting at the wrong times.
Our latest blog article shows how FrameFlow can help using specialized Time Event Monitors that watch over the clock on your systems and report discrepancies with the FrameFlow server. Don't miss it!
Another recent post teaches you how to suppress alerts from selected devices and drives with the System Health Event Monitor. This is important because certain devices are constantly above the thresholds you set no matter what, like a SQL Server database that purposely consumes 100% of available memory. Suppressing alerting for these conditions is key to ensuring that only the most urgent alerts are sent to you and your team.
Read it today to learn how to ignore alerts from certain devices and drives.
