Changes to Telemetry for All Users

To our Telemetry users: Soon, we'll be changing how FrameFlow Telemetry works to add extra security for our users. Moving forward, all users of Telemetry will be required to use two-factor authentication. For now, we're retaining the option to use Telemetry without 2FA, but we recommend you begin using two-factor authentication whenever using/enabling Telemetry from now on. We'll soon remove the option to use Telemetry without 2FA entirely, most likely in two updates from now.

Thanks for using Telemetry and we hope you enjoy the peace of mind from our new added security features.

What's New in FrameFlow v2024.6?

Very soon, we'll be releasing a new version of FrameFlow, version 2024.6. This update is packed with improvements to our software, some of which we'll preview for you below. Keep an eye out for this update and make sure to update at your earliest convenience to get these features and more.

New Event Monitor: Linux/SSH DNF Update

FrameFlow's newest event monitor is now the Linux/SSH DNF Update Event Monitor, which is the latest addition to our Linux-compatible event monitors. Newer versions of Linux, especially Amazon Linux 2023, have support for DNF instead of YUM Update, so we've added this new event monitor to keep up. Just like our Linux/SSH YUM Update Event Monitor, the DNF update monitor will alert you if any of the connected network devices are due for an update.

New Active Directory Discovery Settings

Another update in v2024.6 is the new setting in the AD Discovery Event Monitor. Now, when a device that was found in AD previously is no longer detected by FrameFlow, you can choose to automatically pause, move, or remove it from monitoring entirely.

Enabling this setting means that network devices no longer part of Active Directory will be automatically weeded out of your configuration. This helps you keep your FrameFlow instance free of clutter and your device counts below any limits.
