Out Now: FrameFlow v2022.10

About a week ago, we released FrameFlow v2022.10, which includes two new event monitors and tons of new features. Make sure to upgrade your instance as soon as you can to take advantage of the features we'll highlight below!

New SNMP Monitoring Features

Version 2022.10 brings new options to the SNMP Event Monitor. In previous releases, you had the ability to alert based on the current detected value. FrameFlow v2022.10 adds the ability to alert if the value has changed since the last time the event monitor ran. Also new for the SNMP Event Monitor is that you can now set multiple alert thresholds for each SNMP value, saving you space in the interface by eliminating the need for duplicate rows of the same SNMP value.

Also on the subject of SNMP, we now show interface speed in the Interfaces tab for network devices and we added a new ability to override the default detected speed. If you override the speed for an interface, that value will be used in your SNMP Bandwidth event monitors when calculating link usage as a percent.

New Linux-Based Event Monitors

The Linux/SSH APT Update Event Monitor runs 'apt-get update' on systems that support 'apt-get' and alerts if there are updates available. Use it to stay on top of the latest security fixes for your devices!

The Linux/SSH Login Event Monitor runs 'lastlog' on systems that support it and alerts based on user security events. With it, you can receive alerts about logins, new users, and even alerts about specific users and their actions.
