New Release: FrameFlow v2021.14

Our latest update is v2021.14, so don't forget to login and update if you haven't already done so. This update contains bug fixes and additions to preexisting event monitors aimed to improve performance.

The Windows Event Log Event Monitor received a new option that lets you show account names alongside security identifiers. This helps you recognize accounts at a glance instead of trying to remember long SIDs.

Another event monitor that received an upgrade is the Logon Security Event Monitor. It now has better compatibility monitoring domain controllers.

Bug fixes for v2021.14 include improved support for floating point and decimal values in the Oracle Event Monitor, fixing an issue experienced with graphs displaying more than 10,000 data points, and a few more important tweaks. Check them all out in our change log.

New Tutorial Series: Dashboard Panels

FrameFlow dashboards are a powerful tool to keep your IT staff in the know about all current operations. The Dashboards section is a place to display alerts, graph data, identify problems or trends, and more. Recently, we've begun to document the different dashboard panel types in tutorials, starting with the Data Point Dashboard Panels.

The Data Point Value and Data Point List dashboard panels lift specified data points from your monitoring configuration and display them on their own for easy monitoring. The data point value panel shows the current value for a selected data point. The data point list panel shows data point values for multiple network devices associated with an event monitor.

More tutorials on FrameFlow Dashboards are coming in the next few weeks, so make sure to check out the current tutorial in the meantime and explore the Dashboards section yourself! What you find might serve to save your organization valuable time and money in the long run.

New Tutorial: VMware Discovery

Another recently released tutorial covers the VMware Discovery Event Monitor! It works just like the three discovery event monitors already covered in tutorials. This event monitor detects new VMware hosts and guests and automatically adds them to your existing monitoring configuration. You can even choose what folder they end up in, saving you time and effort.

Current Release: FrameFlow v2021.14

Once again, our latest release is v2021.14. Make sure to login and update ASAP to keep receiving the most up-to-date FrameFlow experience.
