Our long-awaited 2021.9 release is now live. Log in today to update to this new version.
This update contains the new device drill down dashboard feature shown above, as well as new event monitors and network diagram arrows.
We released new billing event monitors for Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. Also for AWS and Azure, we've added discovery event monitors that allow you to find new devices and automatically onboard them to your existing monitoring configuration. You can read more about these and other exciting new features in our blog post for FrameFlow v2021.9.
Thanks to everyone who downloaded the beta version of 2021.9! Your feedback is always instrumental to the improvement of our products.
Earlier this year, we created a tutorial on how to get the most out of our built-in SNMP browser. It allows you to scan your SNMP-based devices to receive a complete list of values that they support, then lets you select from the list to make an SNMP event monitor tailor-made to watch those key values.
You can read all about our SNMP browser here!
In the works right now is a Technical Resources page that will function as your event monitor dictionary. Distinct from the Features page, it will go step-by-step through each event monitor, defining each datapoint, protocol, authentication level, and outlining use cases.
One exciting aspect of this page is that each event monitor reference will detail the minimum amount of authentication needed to run the event monitor. In an IT environment where security matters more and more every day, we're sure you'll find great use for this information.
As mentioned above, version 2021.9 is the current release and is recommended for all FrameFlow users. See our change log for complete details about what's new and improved.
That's all for this newsletter. Thank you to all of our beta testers for making v2021.9 run more smoothly! We always welcome questions and feedback, so make sure to get in touch.
Sincerely,
The FrameFlow Team
