FrameFlow v2021.1 Released

We are very happy to announce that FrameFlow v2021.1 has been released and is now available for download. In this newsletter we will go over what's new in this release and will also tell you about a new tutorial that we posted recently.

New: Ticketing and Assignment Features

One of the major new additions in FrameFlow v2021.1 is the ability to assign alerts to team members. It's a great new way for teams to coordinate their actions while responding to multiple ongoing alerts.

With just two clicks you can assign an alert to yourself. Your assignment appears in Headquarters and also in all alerts that are listed on your dashboards. By assigning an alert to yourself, the rest of the team knows right away that it's being taken care of and can focus on their own set of current tasks and alerts.

You can also easily assign alerts to other team members and a new icon in the top-level status bar shows the number of alerts that are currently assigned to you.

As alerts are assigned and their status is updated, a timeline for the alert is managed in the background for you automatically. The ticket keeps a timeline of how the ticket and associated alert evolved including who it was assigned to and when its status was updated. You can even add custom status entries with extra details about the actions taken as a result of the alert.

We've also updated our mobile apps for Android and iOS, adding the same ability to assign and re-assign alerts directly from your phone.

New Tutorial: SQL Server Event Monitor

SQL Server is the backbone for many critical IT systems. It's used for everything from intranet portals to ERP systems. See our new SQL Server Event Monitor tutorial to find out how to monitor database growth and even run test queries to verify results and output.

In our tutorial, we show you how to monitor not only database and transactions log sizes, but also how to run SQL queries or stored procedures. The event monitor has options to check the results of the queries. If your query has generated numeric data, you can even create graph data points which can be displayed on dashboards and in other parts of the FrameFlow interface.

Current Release: v2021.1

Version 2021.1 is the current release and is recommended for all FrameFlow users. See our change log for complete details about what's new and improved.
