Our Process Event Monitor keeps an eye on memory and CPU usage stats on your systems. It can alert based on total CPU or memory usage as well as alert based on the status of a specific process.
Our new tutorial shows you how to set up these kinds of monitoring and more, so take a look and learn how use them to best advantage in your FrameFlow monitoring configuration.
Process Event Monitor Tutorial
The Ping Event Monitor is integral to any monitoring configuration. You're probably already familiar with the broad strokes of this event monitor, but did you know you can include a traceroute in all failure notifications?

Happy New Year to our newsletter subscribers! We hope 2021 is treating you kindly. We have a major release planned for this month along with other 2021 goodies we can't wait to reveal. We look forward to working with you to make 2021 your most productive year yet.
Our new release is planned for the third week of January. It includes new ticketing features, including an update that allows you to assign active alerts to members of your team and track their status. This feature is especially useful in the era of working remotely, allowing you to keep track of who's doing what from the comfort of your own home.
We also added an option to view your open tickets in FrameFlow's top taskbar for easy access. You will be able to filter the open tickets to show only those that pertain to you. Our updated mobile app will have the same alert assignment options available.
The Headquarters section will now have an Actions menu with the option to pause and resume refreshes. This lets you stop Headquarters from updating with new information while you're in the middle of working on something. Just hit resume when done. Note that this only pauses refreshes for you, so your team can still view the most recent refresh even if your own Headquarters section is paused.
Make sure to keep an eye out for this release and update as soon as possible in order to take advantage of all the new features it includes!
Some of those servers are running low on disk space. Kirk will take care of them, right?
Under the hood as you assign alerts to team members, tickets are automatically generated and updated. Tickets have a status timeline that records all changes in state and assignment. Team members can also add custom status entries to a timeline to record the actions taken while troubleshooting a condition.
Our mobile apps are also receiving all of the great ticketing and alert assignment features that we told you about above. Managing alerts and coordinating with other team members will be easier than ever.
Our current release is v2020.11. See our change log for complete details about what's new and improved. It's our recommended stable build so login and upgrade as soon as possible. As we mentioned above, our first release for 2021 is just around the corner. It is scheduled for release in the third week of January so be sure to check back and upgrade when it becomes available.
That's all for this newsletter. As always, if you have questions or feedback that you would like to share, get in touch because we're always eager to hear your suggestions.
Sincerely,
The FrameFlow Team
