What's New in FrameFlow v2026.3?

Learn What has Changed, What's Stayed the Same, and What's Coming Next

FrameFlow v2026.3 is FrameFlow's latest release, containing a new event monitor and several important additions and improvements to our software. This article will introduce the changes. Make sure to log in and upgrade to our latest version to keep getting the best FrameFlow experience.

New Event Monitor: Linux/SSH Restart Event Monitor

The most prominent change we've added in v2026.3 is a brand-new event monitor, the Linux/SSH Restart Event Monitor. It connects to a remote server using SSH and checks for evidence of planned or unplanned system restarts. Sometimes, unplanned system restarts are early warning signs of potential software or hardware issues, so this event monitor can help give you an early warning about these conditions.

Not only that, this event monitor can also send an alert if a restart has not occurred since the last time the event monitor ran. You can use this feature to notify you if a planned restart does not occur and investigate why it didn't happen.

Network Diagrams Update

For users displaying network diagrams on larger screens, we've added the option to use much larger icons to represent elements of your network. You can find this new option in the "More Icons" tab of Network Devices.

Discovery Event Monitor Updates

We also updated each discovery event monitor to work more conveniently. Now, if one of our discovery event monitors detect a device with an IP that matches a device that's already been added to your config, it will ignore it. This prevents confusion with devices that have already been onboarded to FrameFlow. The Ping Discovery Event Monitor has also been updated to contain the same options as other discovery monitors. The Intune Discovery Event Monitor now has a new option to pause inactive network devices.
