What's New in FrameFlow v2025.7?

Learn What has Changed, What's Stayed the Same, and What's Coming Next

FrameFlow's latest release is now version 2025.7. This update contains a new event monitor, tons of features updates, and a handful of helpful bug fixes. You can look at the change log to learn about every change we made, but we'll highlight the most important changes here in this article.

Updates to Azure App Registration Event Monitor

Our Azure App Registration Event Monitor has always had the option to display app registrations in a table in the event monitor's output. This update, we added a checkbox that will include app and client secret IDs as columns in the table. Keeping these values on hand in result tables can save you time and help you quickly access them. You'll also be able to distinguish between app registrations with a similar name by checking their IDs.

Data Point List Panel Axis Order Settings

We added more flexibility to the Data Point dashboard panel's settings in this update, allowing you to swap the data on each axis of the data points table. Previously, the only way to view this table was as you see below, with the device names in rows and the data points you choose to display in columns:

Now, you can swap the axes so that the data points are in the rows and the network device names are in columns. This can be handy if you use your Data Point List panel to compare and contrast values for a single data point between several network devices.

More Options for Importing Monitoring Configurations

When importing a FrameFlow monitoring configuration, you can now customize the elements that will be transferred to the new location. With the changes we've made in FrameFlow v2025.7, you can now choose aspects of the monitoring configuration that will be imported into the new instance with improved granularity. Below, you'll see a sample list of the elements you can choose to import or leave behind.

New Microsoft Defender Event Monitor

As of v2025.7, we now have even more support for Microsoft Defender monitoring. Alongside the Defender Vulnerabilities and Secure Score event monitors, we've added a new MS Defender Incidents and Alerts Event Monitor. It notifies you about alerts and incidents from Defender that are unresolved, unassigned, and more. You can choose the severity of alert you want to receive from FrameFlow based on the status of the Defender incident or alert, allowing you to stay on top of Defender status around the clock. Device Property Inheritance Group Updates

We've also changed the inheritance behavior when you drag a device that does not have inheritance turned on into a group where inheritance is enabled. Previously, the newly-added device wouldn't inherit any properties from its new group. Now, when you drag the same device into a group with inheritance, you'll get a prompt asking you if you want the device to inherit the properties of the group or retain its own.

This gives you a chance to confirm that you want the device's own properties to be overwritten by those of the group and saves you time when overwriting the default device settings is the goal.
