Discovers and automatically onboards Cisco Meraki devices.
The Meraki Discovery Event Monitor connects to Cisco Meraki using their API and discovers and automatically onboards Meraki devices to your monitoring configuration.
This event monitor provides the following options:
In the Authentication section, enter the API key and organization name from which you want to import Meraki devices. Select a device group that will receive the onboarded devices.
This monitoring option will send an alert of your choice if FrameFlow cannot contact the Meraki API.
Enable this option to receive an alert of your choice if a device that this event monitor discovered on a previous run isn't there anymore.
This option will pause any devices that have been previously detected by this event monitor.
Use this option to move previously discovered devices to a folder of your choosing.
This option will completely remove devices that the event monitor has detected on previous runs and are still there on the next run.
Under the "Import" dropdown, you can choose to import both switches and router devices, or just one of the two types.
Under the "Filter" setting, enter the names of devices to ignore, one per line. You can use the asterisk character (*) as a wildcard character.
Enter one or more patterns, one per line, to exclude devices based on their name. As with the last option, you can use the asterisk character (*) as a wildcard.
This event monitor generates the following data points:
Data Point | Description |
---|---|
Count of Detected Devices | The number of devices the event monitor has detected. |
