Checks for updates for your Linux devices and alerts you when one is available.
This event monitor runs 'yum check-update' on systems that support 'Yellowdog Updater, Modified' (yum) and alerts if updates are available. The event monitor also attempts to run "needs-restarting" to determine if connected systems need to restart.
This event monitor provides the following options:
Use this option to get alerts if FrameFlow could not contact the SSH server.
Use this option to receive alerts when updates are available.
This option will send you an alert of your choice if updates have been installed since the last time the event monitor checked.
This option makes the event monitor check if any newly installed updates need a system reboot and sends you an alert if a reboot is required.
This option tells the event monitor to automatically apply detected updates.
This option lets you receive a list of all available updates in the notifications generated by each event monitor run.
This option will include a list of recently installed updates in the event text genereated by the event monitor each time it runs.
The account used for authentication must have interactive login rights via SSH. In addition, the account must have permission to run the following command:
