Views the date and time settings on a Linux system and compares it with the date and time on the FrameFlow server.
The Linux/SSH Time Event Monitor checks the date and time settings on any Linux system and compares it with the date and time on the FrameFlow server. You'll receive custom alerts about any discrepancies the event monitor detects.
This event monitor provides the following options:
This option allows you to choose the number of seconds difference between the times on your Linux device and the FrameFlow server's time that will trigger each level of alert.
Sends an alert of your choice if the time zone of the Linux device does not match the time zone on your FrameFlow server.
Use the dropdown menus here to select the level of alert you want to receive and the UTC offset of your FrameFlow server. Linux devices that don't match the specified UTC offset of your FrameFlow server will trigger the chosen level of alert.
The account used for authentication must have interactive login rights via SSH. It also must have the ability to run the following commands:
This event monitor generates the following data points:
Data Point | Description |
---|---|
Time Difference | Time difference between Linux device and FrameFlow server in seconds. |
Time Zone Match | Success/Failure data point. Value of 1 if the time zone matches, value of zero if it does not. |
UTC Offset Match | Success/Failure data point. Value of 1 if the UTC offset matches, value of zero if it does not. |
