Checks for updates for your Linux devices and alerts you when one is available.
This event monitor runs 'apt-get update' on systems that support 'Advanced Package Tool Get Update' (apt-get) and alerts if updates are available.
This event monitor provides the following options:
Use this option to get alerts if FrameFlow could not contact the SSH server.
Use this option to receive alerts when updates are available.
Use this option to receive alerts if updates have been installed since the last check.
With this option enabled, you'll receive an alert if newly installed updates require a system reboot.
Check this box if you want updates to be automatically applied.
This option lets you receive a list of all available updates in the notifications generated by each event monitor run.
The account used for authentication must have interactive login rights via SSH. In addition, the account must have permission to run the following command:
This event monitor generates the following data points:
Data Point | Description |
---|---|
Pending Reboot | Displays a 1 if a reboot is pending and a 0 if it is not. |
Update Count | The number of updates available. |
